At Home Chesapeake provides a broad selection of social activities for its members and guests.  Members select from ideas introduced by the Social Committee and village members.  This social interaction is our Social Glue which binds us together as a village family.

A group of AHC members and friends watched the racing fleet sail out for the July 13th Wednesday Night Races.  Soon they returned by sail and motor as the wind had disappeared.  But dinner was still great from our vantage point at Carrol's Creek Cafe, Annapolis.  Picture by permission of Carroll's Creek Cafe, 410-263-8102.

Members gathered on June 14th on Maggy's deck overlooking Sullivan's Cove for a summer cookout.  The moonrise was particularly striking.

An Open House and Ribbon Cutting ceremony was held at our new office space on April 24th.

The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for At Home Chesapeake at our office on 2 Evergreen Road, Severna Park. We are now located in a section of the office we shared with DocSite for the past 2 years.

Greetings were offered by elected and citizen group representatives. 

Several members joined the public at the Mardis Gras Silent Auction...... held in the Columbian Center, Severna Park, on February 26th.

5 members attended the American Craft Council Show on February 24th at the Convention Center in Baltimore.   Maureen and Larry, Maggy, Joe and Pat...

Members of At Home Chesapeake attended the Friday, February 11th performance of "The Sound of Music" at Maryland Hall in Annapolis.  Following the performance, they were able to speak with the cast and staff at an interactive session.

Before the show, the group had dinner at the new location of The Wild Orchid restaurant at Westgate Circle on West Street.

Good food and good music.  What better way to fight the winter blues.

Members gathered at Doreen and Brian's home in Edgewater for a "Fall Food" pot luck dinner on Saturday, November 20th.

The Director confers with the Captain.  9 members and friends cruised on the Magothy River after the Advisory Board meeting on Thursday, October 7th.  We went out Cattail Creek and poked around several other creeks for several hours at the end of summer.  The weather was great, the wind was pleasant and lunch was refreshing.  And we successfully accomplished a hat overboard drill.
