There are two types of membership in At Home Chesapeake. Advocates are members who wish to contribute their skills, talents, and interests with other members of the village. They are focused more on "giving" than "receiving." Advocates have access to all activities within AHC but do not participate in the development of their own Master Aging Plan.
The second type of membership, "Full Member" initiates the full spectrum of services within the AHC framework. It includes the development of the Master Aging Plan with other member advocates sharing in the development of "the conversation" on the individual members unique issues surounding aging in place. It also expects that the full member will develop their own talents to support other members of the village.
